Primo! This F5 mandolin (dated 01/17/07) is ready to be played. It's all hand-carved solid woods, maple back & sides, and aged spruce top. 3-ply binding on top, back, and headstock. Gold Schaller tuners; ebony adjustable bridge and radius fretboard; heavy cast tailpiece. Some finish scuffing near bridge. Nice flaming on the back and neck. Includes rectangular case.

The sound on this one will astound you. It's one of the best sounding Eastmans that I have played. It will compete with mandolins costing more $$$.
