  Thanks everybody. Anna, I was using a 100-400 lens set to about 300mm. I had everything set up as shown in the other image I uploaded and didn't want to make any changes on location for fear of missing a shot. This one is simply a tighter crop of one of the other images. A 600mm lens would get pretty close to this in the camera, but given the price of such lenses I'll be sticking with the crop tool in Photoshop. :)

  Thanks Ken. It looked like a crop of the photo posted before it. I was impressed with the sharpness of the glass, that's why I questioned the lens. Auto focus or manual? Thanks for your response to my question. You got your full moon shot this year! Nice job.
