Hi everyone!
Just wanted to give you a heads up that I was at Great Falls yesterday and there are a ton of great photo opportunities on the swamp trail. Definitely bring an old pair of shoes or some hiking boots because there is potential to get a little muddy. Things to photograph include:
I may go back Sunday if the weather cooperates if anyone is interested in meeting me out there. As always, I get the first set of images back and realize where I went wrong and now I want to go back and correct them! Here are some of the shots I got... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

those are good. May I ask what kind of lens or gear you use? Hi Mike - I shoot with a Nikon D60 with either an 18-55mm lens or the 105mm lens. I believe most of the ones shot above were with the 105mm. It doesn't autofocus on my camera but generally my objects are not moving so it isn't too much of an issue. If anything, it requires me to take a bunch of photos of the same composition to make sure I get one in focus. Here is another one that I took a weekend after the ones shot above at nearby Riverbend park using the 105mm. ![]() Kelli |
