Andy is correct, the clarity slider is basicly a mild version of the sharpening tool. Reducing the clarity in effect softens the skin tones. You can use the spot removal tool in the heal mode can remove large skin imperfections. Using the selection brush, sharpen the eyes and lips.

try dropping the clarity slider in the basic drop down menu, drop it and it will soften the whole photo, you can do it locally with the brush or the grad tool, after I soften a portrait I will then sharpen the eyes and lips.

Yes great falls is great but BBBIIIGGGG, for that kind of shot something like a small brook or water fall, I do know there is a few small brooks/streams close to great falls. Or near Cabotts mill, so we can do something, do you have a time in mind.

Hi, No problem, I can understand. It was already getting quite late.
I have been keeping busy for a while and haven't found enough time to get to the outdoors
with my camera. Moreover, the weather has been quite unpredictable.
I'll surely catch up with you once I get some time and the weather warms up a bit.
