Tonight's Workshop: Post-production Techniques - Photoshop Lightroom 3.0
After you go on a photoshoot, you have all of these images, what do you do with them then? This session will focus on basic digital photograph workflow using the newest version of Lightroom. The session will cover the basic features and methods of using Lightroom to catalog, adjust and process your images after capture. We will also cover tips & tricks and some advanced techniques. Both Mac and Windows versions will be available.
Lightroom has many more features than can be covered in one session, but this will get you started in using Lightroom and understanding why this is an important tool for the photographer.
If you have a laptop with Lightroom 3.0 installed, you are welcomed to bring it and follow along. Time will be limited, so discussions of advanced features will be limited.
For those of you who have studenet IDs or children in school, you can buy copies of Lightroom 3.0 at student prices from JourneyEd.com for $89.95 plus shipping: http://www.journeyk12...
Most of us have a couple of shots that we are really proud of. It might be an incredible shot of a storm or it could be a portrait that just came out perfectly.
Unfortunately for many of us, these gold shots are few and far between. Sure, we can get the occasional brilliant photo, but we find it hard to put together time after time. Don't worry, most of us have the same problem!
The thing is that by taking your time with a few basic skills, you can greatly increase the chances that you are going to increase your average for getting that great shot. The funny thing is that none of these skills are particularly difficult.
Keep those shutters snapping.
