July 4th Independence Day Celebrations

This was an annual event that is an unplanned meetup, but provides the members an opportunity to show off their efforts. Fireworks are common, but photos of other activities and locations of patriotic events are encouraged. For those who our attended the workshop on night photography had an opportunity to try out the fireworks photography techniques. Show us your best!     WOW! Great fireworks, the breeze cleared the smoke quicklyThe frequency of the fireworks resulted in multiple bursts in about every shot. It was a hot time before the sun went down, but to get a prime view, you need to go early!

    The prime shooting spots are less available then the last time I was at this site for fireworks. Trees have grown as well as the crowds. Nevertheless a good location was found and the fireworks superb.
