Situated along the Monocacy River, Lilypons is an aquatic farm of around 300 acres with some 500 examples of ponds and pools designed to inspire the home garden designer. Ponds are filled with waterlilies, lotus and koi carp which visitors can feed from a floating dock. The garden encourage photographers to visit. Lotus blossoms open at night and close early morning around 10:00 AM. Other lilies are open all day!

This was an awesome meetup, I think I may have filled up a couple memory cards with so many great subjects to shoot. I hope everyone checked for ticks after-wards, I found a huge one crawling on my leg when I got in the car.
Thanks John for organizing. It was a great outing (my first with this group). I definitely would like to do this again.
It's was nice having clouds to take flower pics. Thanks John for organizing this meet up.
Thank you, John, for organizing this great meet up. I had a blast taking pictures of all those flowers, cars, animals and people.
Great images from everyone. The overcast day sure made for some wonderful photography. I'd love to see more cars if anyone has them. I went to shoot them as they were announcing to close up because of the storm; so I couldn't take advantage of the nice car show.
Man-o-man! You all did such a great job! What an amazing gallery of photos from the event! I am very imppressed with your skills and eye for composition! Well done!
Hello--this will be our first time with this meet up group. Just making sure we're following the right procedure. We're meeting at Lilypons, right? Is there a meeting place, or should we just look for a group of people? Thanks Tom and Betsy Keogan
