  John, glad to see you made it out! Sorry the rest of us weren't able to meet up with you as well. Things got a bit hectic once we got inside and we just pretty much went our separate ways and did our thing!

  Now that I see your photo I think I may have seen you walking around in the crowd. Or at least someone who looked like you carrying around a big camo lens (70-200/2.8?).

  Yup! That was me! I got a bit waylaid purchasing a new car that morning, so I got there just as they were introducing the girls for the first jam.
  Wearing markers is a good ideal, just a piece of ribbon would do. Maybe we can get folks to tie it to their camera strap.

  I got there a little late but still had a whale of a time. It was a fun, new and unique experience. Maybe meeting up after would've been nice but I was very glad I went. Great idea!

  Debby, you're right it would've been great to meet up afterward and I regret not having thought of that in the planning.

  I know Rahul had to leave early and I also was (how to put this nicely?) "volunteered" for another (non-meetup related) commitment and had to leave at half of the second bout.

  Ah, well, as they say, "Wisdom comes from experience and experience comes from making mistakes." I'll do better next time and make sure to incorporate the ideas/suggestions you all have given!
